PDO Threads & Facelifts

The polydiaxonone (PDO) thread lift and smoothing procedure use absorbable surgical sutures placed into the subdermal layer of the skin to initiate collagen production. The procedure can result in increased firmness and elasticity of the skin in the treated area. Various treatment options exist and should be discussed via an in-person consultation.

PDO Threads used at Cell Theory are FDA Approved: V‑Soft

Cosmetic Dermatology

Cosmetic dermatology target the aesthetic aspect of your skin. You may elect these services to get rid of wrinkles, maintain an even skin tone or change your skin’s texture from rough to smooth. Some of the procedures may include combinational aspects such as control and management of melasma (severity will dictate treatment plan, an example can include topical medication with micro-needling and possible LASER therapy), spider vein treatments, stretch mark therapy, skin tag removal, wart treatments and many other concerns pertaining to the skin.

PRP Injections

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a procedure that requires the use of your own blood cells and plasma for treatment. The PRP-facelift is a non-surgical facelift that allows rejuvenation of the skin using platelets, rich in growth factors suspended in plasma. Various ways of introducing the PRP into the skin exist.

PRP injections can be used solely and injected directly into targeted problem areas, such as beneath the eyes (dark circles).

Vampire Facelift is another method that uses PRP & hyaluronic acid for further enhancement.

Pure Micro PRP Facelift has proven more effective than the traditional Vampire facelift as it uses micro-dermal needling to create micro-channels that introduce the PRP more effectively into the dermis with less irritation, and, with patient skincare regimen compliance post-treatment, promotes faster healing and impressive results that may last up to 1 year or longer if the introduction of filler is desired post-treatment.

Sclerotherapy

Spider veins

Sclerotherapy is a treatment that uses an irritating solution called a sclerosant, which is injected directly into blood vessels (veins) or lymph vessels, causing them to shrink. This phenomenon occurs via the irritating medication, which causes the vessel to swell. The swelling reduces the blood flow and thus the vein shrinks.

It is a popular, non-surgical procedure that requires a single, to various injections (depending on severity and quantity), commonly used to treat varicose veins aka: “spider veins,” caused by chronic venous insufficiency.

The fragility of the vein walls causes a weakening in the vein’s valves, leading to swelling and bulging of the veins termed: varicose veins.

Varicose veins can become very painful, cause skin issues, and cause insecurity due to their appearance. Sclerotherapy, in reducing vessel size, decreases effects of vein damage, makes varicose veins less noticeable, and notably diminishes pain.

Microdermabrasion & Microneedling

Information: Micro-needling is aka: “Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT).” The procedure involves the use of a sterile needle device that makes serial punctures at controlled depths in the skin. These punctures induce a healing response, in turn, promoting collagen remodeling, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, improving skin laxity, decreasing hyperpigmentation, increasing epidermal strength and thickness, improving the appearance of scars, diminishing large pores, and resulting in glowing, smoother, and younger-looking skin, without downtime or trauma.

At Cell Theory we only use products and provide services we believe in and use ourselves. We are proud and excited to offer you the Number ONE medical micro-dermal needling device and skincare line: MD Pen.

Healthy Skin is Beautiful Skin

Fibroblast Treatments

Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty

Information: Fibroblast skin tightening is the new procedure in revolutionary non-surgical lifting. By using a Plasma Pen, superficial damage to the epidermis (upper skin layer) transmits heat to the dermis (lower skin level). This activates fibroblasts, the cells that release collagen and elastin. New skin results and collagen will generate for the next 6-8 weeks. The result is improved skin texture with skin tightening, reduced wrinkles and a more youthful skin resurfaces.

Treatment Areas:
• Upper & Lower Eyelids (on-surgical Blepharoplasty)
• Forehead wrinkles
• Frown lines
• Nasolabial folds (Smile Lines)
• Jawline
• Neck Rejuvenation
• Belly Lift/Rejuvenation
• Scar Management

Chemical Peels

Information: Medical grade chemical peels vary in type, potency (strength), penetrative abilities and may be used to tackle different skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, clogged pores, acne marks, age spots, uneven skin texture & tone, and black/white heads.

The process involves application of a medical grade chemical acid which generally causes some redness, darkening, swelling or “frosting”, depending on the strength and type of peel applied. Skin will start tightening after neutralization and will feel dry and tight for the next 2-3 days. Skin may flake and become wrinkled during this time. Once the peeling slows down, the skin will begin its healing process. During this process of cellular turn over results become visible within the following weeks. Collagen production and elastin have been amped up resulting in tighter, firmer and more youthful looking skin with a reduction in wrinkles, blemishes, pore size, hyperpigmentation, and a more even skin tone with a beautiful skin glow.

Superficial Peels: Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Glycolic Acid, AHA + Vitamin C peels, Salicylic Acid 10%, and TCA 10%.

Medium Peels: TCA, Jessner Solution (Resorcinol/Salicylic Acid/Glycolic Acid Combo), Salicylic Acid 20%, TCA 20%.

Deep Peels: TCA 30%, Jessner Solution in layers to achieve the effect of a deep peel, Salicylic Acid 30%
